National Liaison Committee for International Students (NLC), the national peak body for International Students, has confirmed with University of New South Wales on SSAF (Student Services and Amenities fees) exemption for all International Students on 5 June 2012.

UNSW Vice-President University Services Neil MORRIS has confirmed with NLC on behalf of Vice-Chancellor Fred HILMER today that the university has decided to exempt SSAF charge for all International Students at UNSW, the exemption amount is estimated at over $3.5 million for 2013.

NLC welcomes this decision and will continue to push for SSAF exemption at all other 38 public universities to follow UNSW model.
