Police call for witnesses in Jiao Dan murder case
Written by ABC News

Police investigating the murder of Chinese student Jiao Dan are looking for people who may have seen the woman hours before her death.

Ms Jiao's body was found in the early hours of last Tuesday morning just metres from her Innaloo home.

Thirty five year old Daniel Adam Wright has been charged with her wilful murder and is due to appear in court again tomorrow.

Police want to speak to anyone who was on the north bound Perth train heading to Glendalough and Stirling train stations just after 11.00pm on the evening of Monday, October the eighth.

Officers especially want to hear from a man and woman who left the train at Stirling.

Police have spent today searching an area between the train station and Ms Jiao's home for her belongings, particularly a backpack she was carrying on the night.
