The Immigration Department is investigating if there are grounds to cancel the visas of students at the Adelaide Pacific International College.

The students met immigration officials today and were told their visas will not be cancelled while claims about their attendance are investigated.

The school says the students have not been attending their classes.

But migration agent Mark Glazbrook says the students have done nothing wrong.

"Based on the information and advice that I've received, there are not adequate record keeping procedures that have been in place, and the normal cancellation procedure that the college must go through in terms of the notification process has not been followed," he said.
