On 1 February 2008, STUDENTeam commenced its formal operation. All of the related programs supported by NLC and OSA had been transferred to STUDENTeam National Executive Office.

To inform NLCampus Representatives of the strategic change in direction, the 1st OSA Presidents Summit (OSAPS) was held between 25-27 April, 2008 at Medina Grand Hotel in Melbourne.

The inaugural Summit served as a platform for round table discussion by the Overseas Students Leaders from major Australian education institutions to talk about NLC's future direction and identify the most relevant issues challenging our community.

The NLC national and OSA campus operation structure had been agreed upon to create the central platform that serves our International Students Community.

During OSAPS 2008, OSAmbassadors participated in professional development sessions and engaged in workshops to tackle their specific campus issues.
